The Beth Din of Montreal consists of well experienced Rabbis and Rabbinical judges in the field of Beth Din matters, which include commercial disputes related to partnerships, corporate disputes and employment disputes. In addition congregational issues, businesses, contracts as well as inheritance may also be adjudicated. It has earned an international reputation for integrity, competence, and fairness. It is a forum which acts in a professional, efficient and user-friendly manner.

A legal arbitration agreement is signed by both parities, prior to the Beth Din hearing taking place. Either party is entitled to have representation legal or otherwise. All members of the community may use the services of the Beth Din of Montreal. Financial disputes are also arbitrated by the Beth Din.

The fees for the service are as follows:

The fee for issuing a hazmana (summons) is $350. If more than one person is being summoned, there is an additional fee of $100 per additional person.

The Din Torah hearing fee is $600 per side, which includes up to two (2) hours of hearing time. The hearing is conducted before three Dayanim (Rabbinical judges), who are present for the entire proceeding and will issue a written psak (judgment) following the conclusion of the Din Torah.

If the hearing exceeds the included two hours, each additional hour is billed at $350 per side.
