The Jewish community Council of Montreal would like to offer its sincere congratulations to Member of Parliament Pierre Poilievre on winning his bid for leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada this past weekend. Mr. Poilievre has visited the JCC and met with our members on various occasions.
Our organization looks forward to continuing to build a strong relationship with the federal government and the new leadership of the Conservative Party.
The JCC is excited for future opportunities to collaborate and work with all federal political parties to promote Canadian democratic values. We look forward to engaging with Mr. Poilievre on many issues, particularly those that involve the Jewish community.
We thank Mr. Poilievre for his continued dedication to our country and community and wish him the best of luck in his new, well deserved, leadership position.
